WHAT IS THE ASSISTED LIVING
WAIVER (ALW) PROGRAM?
The Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) Program is a Medi-Cal program designed to help eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities receive personalized care services in an assisted living setting instead of a nursing facility.
The goal of the ALW Program is to support independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring residents receive the care and assistance they need daily.
Through the program, qualified individuals may receive assistance with:

WHO MAY QUALIFY?
You or your loved one may qualify for the Assisted Living Waiver Program if you:
